Dr. Jim Miller Dr. Miller was born in Rochester, MN and lived in Chicago, IL and St. Louis, MO prior to moving to Granada Hills in 1965. He graduated from Granada Hills High School and Cal State Northridge and then attended the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California at Davis. He worked at Pet Medical Center as a veterinary assistant prior to admission to veterinary school. Following graduation (in 1974), he did an internship at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. He was then in private practice in San Diego for one year before returning "home" to Chatoak in 1976. Dr. Miller is married and has a grown daughter and son. His volunteer work in the community includes over 15 years of service to the North Valley Family YMCA. Outside of work he enjoys snow skiing, waterskiing, woodworking, and more recently, golf.
