Dr. Rebecca Florio Dr. Florio was born in Chicago, Illinois. Following her undergraduate education at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and the University of California at Davis, she entered the School of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis and graduated with her D.V.M. degree in 1993. She spent three years in private practice in Grover Beach, CA and Tehachapi, CA before joining the veterinary staff at Pet Medical Center in 1996. Her professional interests include general medicine and soft tissue surgery.  In her spare time, Dr. Florio enjoys doing long-distance horseback riding.
